The size of your agency, your title, or your market does not dictate the size of your ideas.

Every year some of the best work we see in the American Advertising Awards comes from smaller businesses or free-lance designers. No other competition offers the opportunity and challenge to compete at the local level, move on to districts and ultimately to be honored as one of the best of the best at the national ADDY competition. In fact, the only thing small about this competition is the cost of entering. No wonder the American Advertising Awards is the world’s largest advertising competition.

Don’t let a small media budget prevent the ad world from appreciating your creativity.

STUDENT COMPETITION

The AAF Student American Advertising Awards is a unique awards program designed especially for college students. Work entered at the local level can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.

Applicants must be enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited U.S. educational institution. Student interns are eligible to enter. Submit work developed specifically for this competition or from previous projects or student contests (work must be created while the entrant is a student, though, and not employed in the advertising industry).

DEADLINE

All entries must be received by January 8, 2016 and should be delivered to Push Crank Press at 123 North Foster Street Dothan, AL by 5:00 p.m.

Entry forms must be submitted online.

ENTRY FEES

Professional Members – $75.00 for single entries and $90.00 for campaigns
Professional Non-Members – $90.00 for single entries and $105.00 for campaigns
Student Members – $20.00 for both single entries and campaigns
Student Non-Members – $20.00 for both single entries and campaigns

**Note: If your business has paid their membership dues for 2016 by January 8th, you will receive (1) FREE entry**

Selection of the most creative entry in each category is effected by a scoring process in which a panel of judges evaluates all creative dimensions of every entry. In each category, a GOLD ADDY®is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a SILVER ADDY®. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on their opinions of the quality of work in that category.
